Faith in Action!

Habitat for Humanity and the faith community are natural partners – each seeking to serve God by serving those in need. First Church is delighted to join with 5 other faith communities (St. John's Episcopal, Corpus Christi, Covenant Community Church, First Congregational Church Wareham, and St. Peters Episcopal) creating a Faith Build in support of the work of Habitat for Humanity.

In 2022, Habitat will be building 3 new homes in Sandwich. One of these home will be a Faith Build. As a group, our 5 faith communities are coming together to pray, fundraise, work and build as we to work hand in hand with families in need of a safe, decent, affordable home.

Volunteer Opportunity

Updated Faith Build Information for 171 Cotuit Road in Sandwich

Here is the sign-up invitation for three upcoming faith-build days. Cotuit Road is anticipated to be completed in late fall of this year.
