First Church Sandwich is known as “The Elvis Church” because of the church’s image appearing on Elvis’ How Great Thou Art album. The King of Rock n Roll lives on as we host a fundraising event with avid, lifelong Elvis fan, Mike Slater as he performs as Elvis in “A Tribute to Elvis.”

Come relive the glory days and hear all your favorite Elvis hits!

About Mike Slater: As an avid, lifelong Elvis fan, I have been playing tribute to The King in my professional Elvis tribute act throughout the United States and Canada for the past 26 years. I have placed in numerous competitions including the Invitation Only-Lake George Elvis fest and in the Pro division sanctioned By Elvis Presley Enterprises and Graceland. I have performed on the annual Mount Washington/Lake Winnipesaukee summer cruises for the past 16 years. I was featured on Chronicle in 2010, and written up in a German entertainment magazine. More recently, I had the honor in January of 2017 to perform in Memphis right around the corner from Graceland at King’s Signature Hotel. I also was chosen as Elvis Tribute Artist of 2016 by an All Elvis/All The Time worldwide Facebook group of over 10,000 members.
