Families are always welcome at either the contemporary 9:00 am service or the more traditional 11:00 am service.
Children and youth (newborn through 12th grade) are registered each year, so we have the most up-to-date info and can provide the best possible Christian education, formation, and communication with families. Newcomers are welcome to join the program throughout the year.
A Nursery is available at the 9:00 service for children up to age 3. Children are always welcome to sit through the service however we acknowledge that sometimes they need a break. The nursery is not staffed so parents are welcome to sit/play with their child. There is a monitor in the room so parents and caregivers can still listen to the service.
We have a One Room Schoolhouse for children 3 – 12 years old in our upstairs church classroom. This model will enable all of our youth to be involved in the same curriculum and help them learn from one another. The theme for this year is “Loving God, Loving Neighbor”. Our students will all begin worship together in our sanctuary at 9:00 am and then after a brief children’s message, we will all go upstairs together to continue with the weekly lesson. Children will be either divided into age appropriate groups for activities and discussions or at times, the older children will assist the younger children with an activity. First Sundays of the month children will go up for Sunday School and then return to receive Holy Communion with their church family.
As always, we invite the parents to not only be involved by volunteering in our One Room Schoolhouse, but to continue the conversations about what we learned at home. Weekly worksheets and stories will go home with your children to encourage these conversations.
Our Jr/Sr High Sunday morning class for 7th-12th grades, Learn, Worship & Serve, meets on third Sundays of each month, Sept. - May, beginning right at 9 am. On other weeks of the month, youth are invited to assist in teaching, or to worship with their families.
We invite children to sign up to Acolyte at our 9:00am service. Please contact Reagan at email@example.com for more information on acolyte training and sign ups.
