About Us

Our Mission Statement

We live our mission as a welcoming community, celebrating God's love in the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We serve the individual, the church, and our world through creative worship, spiritual growth, and nurturing fellowship.

Vision Statement (Where we hope to be in 5 years)

Building on a heritage that embraces social action, we are known as a community church where all are welcome. By the generous gifts of our growing membership our church is a catalyst for spiritual development through a variety of innovative worship and educational experiences.

Recognizing our diversity, we nurture and care for each other. Our children grow into life-long Christians through programs that develop a living relationship with Jesus Christ. Our spiritual presence mirrors our physical presence in our town and the wider community. No matter where we are on life's journey, we are united by the common goal of moving closer to our God.

        What We Believe

"That they may all be one." Is the motto of the United Church of Christ (UCC) from the prayer of Jesus (Holy Bible, John 17:11) for the unity of the church.  Members of the United Church have been leaders in the movement to heal the divisions in the Christian church, and we welcome into membership people from a diversity of religious backgrounds.

We have no prescribed doctrine, and our only creed is to support each others' spiritual paths as we seek to follow Jesus.
